The crystals are not fine ground but are the bigger size. It is great for tea, but it is not good for baking, which is what I use it for mostly. Taste is fine, but it seemed a bit white in color, which makes me wonder how it was processed. The biggest issue I faced was shipping. I ordered twice because the first time was damaged and returned by the courier. The second time I received the item. The item was just in a plastic shipping bag(not a box). The bag had been punctured and had punctured the bag of sugar leaving me with half the bag of sugar empty. I bought 3 bags, and the other 2 were ok. Seller should put in a box to prevent this!
